High Resolution Textures

Get the later games looking their best with these high resolution versions of the textures. Simply use WinZip to extract the files to an installation of the game in question and you should notice the difference. Be warned though - they're excluded by default because they greatly increase loading times and damage performance on slower computers! You may want to consider backing up the low resolution originals in case your gaming experience is negatively affected...

Texture Templates

If you're intent on editing the games, you may find some use for these texture templates that I used during the production of each game. They split each image or item of clothing into colour-coded sections that can be replaced with pinpoint accuracy. It's a useful guide if you want to make sure any new costumes are pixel perfect! Each pack also includes some templates of logos and other in-game displays...

Sprite Templates
(700kb)

This is the 2D equivalent of the 3D texture templates above and includes colour-coded body parts for making your own sprites for Federation Wrestling or Federation Booker. There are also sections of scenery and accurate measurement grids. If you're interested in customizing the 2D games, be sure to check it out...

WM2008: Animations
(9mb)

The original 3D Studio MAX animation files from the development of the Wrestling MPire 2008 series. Everything is in here - from the taunts and attacks to every kind of move! If you're intent on creating your own, it's best to work from this original MAX format instead of trying to salvage something from the 3DS exports. Note that the textures are not included, but you should be able to marry it up with the textures from an installation of the game...

WM2008: Character Models
(3mb)

The original 3D Studio MAX character models from the development of the Wrestling MPire 2008 series. Every body shape is here - from the slender females to the obese males! If you're intent on creating your own, it's best to work from this original MAX format instead of trying to salvage something from the 3DS exports. Note that the textures are not included, but you should be able to marry it up with the textures from an installation of the game...

3D Real World Patch
es

These alternative graphics and data files transform my fictitious game worlds into something more familiar from the real world. The characters within each roster are given their real names and each company is replaced by its real-life equivalent. The transformation is completed by a selection of authentic aprons, canvases, t-shirts, title belts, and even a genuine tabloid newspaper! Simply enter your game's directory and the files should find their place. Be warned that these patches affect the data and will almost certainly ruin any saved games in progress! Indeed, you may have to use the game's "Reset World" command before the changes take effect. The patches should only be used on a fresh installation of the game in question. Please note that I stopped making these patches after Wrestling Encore. If you want something similar for Wrestling MPire 2008, the fan community has been producing plenty of their own...

2D Real World Patch
es

These alternative graphics and data files transform Federation Booker's fictitious universe into something more familiar from the real world. You can either replace the rival rosters with their real-life counterparts to make Federation Online compete in the real world, or you can choose to replace Federation Online itself with the World Wrestling Federation! You can then take part in the infamous "Monday Night Wars" of 1998 or relive the classic 80's era. The wrestlers within each roster have also been given their real names - although the selection may leave a lot to be desired and may need to be refined in the editor. The transformation is completed by a selection of authentic ring aprons for each month's unique PPV event! Simply "Extract" the contents of the zip files to their correct folders and you should notice the changes...

Alternative Icons
(30kb)
Liven up your desktop with these graphical icons for each published game! From Federation Booker to Popcorn, there's a distinctive image for each title - plus several generic MDickie logos. Once you've downloaded the files and extracted them to a folder, simply right click on the shortcut to each game and select "Change Icon" from the "Properties" menu. You can then use the "Browse" option to specify one of the new and improved icons...
