Having conquered the musical world in Popscene, you must now turn your managerial skills to the movie industry! Here, soundtracks are the least of your concerns - as you preside over the scripts and footage that will yield a cinematic masterpiece. Unleash your camera on over 20 unique sets,
and choreograph each scene in a fully interactive 3D world. Success demands that you immerse yourself in a thriving community of over 100 characters, spread across 6 unique studios. Assemble a crack team of writers and directors behind the camera, and then recruit the stars that can bring the material to life on screen. All the while trying to stay on budget, and diplomatically keeping those fragile egos in check week after week. By the time you expose your work to the opinionated public, you'll have taken part in a very real drama of your own!

Requires a PC compatible with DirectX 7.0 or higher. 800mHz processor recommended.

Demo Version
(4.5mb)
Click to download the official demo of the game. In the interests of a small download, please appreciate that many features have been restricted and/or reduced in quality. It merely gives you a chance to bang out a rough project with a few preset characters and sets. Take this simply a test to see that the game works on your computer, and then read the official preview or download the trial version to learn more about the full game...
Not compatible with NVidia cards.

Version 1.2 Update
(800kb)
Click to download a v1.2 patch for the boxed full game. Coming so early, there's nothing spectacular in there. However, there are a handful of important bug fixes that you might want to take advantage of. Certain news events no longer cause crashes or have undesired results, and your meetings with the boss always unfold properly now. And most noticeably, characters from the business world no longer appear to be dead in meetings! In addition to those key changes, you can also find a handful of other tiny adjustments that keep everything panning out properly. You should also find that this patch makes the game compatible with NVidia cards (if that's become a problem since you first acquired the game)...
Requires an installation of the boxed full game.
Orders placed as of July 2006 may be v1.2 as standard.

Real Names Patch
(60kb)
There's no real "world" patch as yet, but the real "names" are ready and waiting to be installed. The process does involve replacing ALL of the existing characters though, so think carefully before applying it to a game in progress! As soon as you've got a clean slate, simply "Extract" these files to the directory of your installation and they'll automatically filter into the "Data" folder. They'll also find their way into the back-up folder, so that the transformation can survive the "Reset World" command. All of which leaves you with some slightly more familiar names to put to those same old faces...
